Place was packed which was a great sign. But only waited about 10 minutes to get seated around 11 AM on a Sunday. Our waitress was very sweet and efficient. The food was delicious and piping hot when we got out. I do recommend the chicken and waffles and the catfish. The waffle was light and fluffy, not cakie. The chicken was perfectly cooked and crunchy with just enough seasoning. The catfish was served with three large pieces and breading was exactly the way it should be. Portions are generous and we ended up with getting some to go. They don’t serve lattes or fancy coffee but the juice was good.

Wonderful service and staff. Food was delicious too! The staff was on it to get us seated, served and happy. Had a tasty skillet but snagged a bit of kids pancakes, yum!!

We were immediately greeted and seated. Got coffee within minutes. Got our food within 10-15 minutes of ordering it. Exactly what you would expect for breakfast. My croissant sandwich was light, flaky and crunchy in all the best ways. The bacon was thick cut and perfectly cooked. My friend's eggs and loaded hashbrowns were delicious and exactly how she wanted them. We never saw the bottoms of our cups, service was perfect. Highly recommend!

We had an absolutely perfect late breakfast. The service was top-notch. Everyone was super friendly and helpful. The food came out very quickly and was amazing. 10/10 I definitely recommend you give them a try.

Delicious breakfast and friendly service. Such a wonderful experience at Charlie’s. I had a delicious French toast with berries and my husband had a delicious egg and bacon croissant. Our friends had the eggs Benedict. All the portions were amazing.

Previously victory cafe. Fresh new look. The staff was very nice and professional. Bree, our waitress was very nice. The price was great. The portions are huge. Catfish for breakfast?? Yep !I seen a catfish fillet with eggs and hashbrowns on the menu and had to try it. It was awesome. I highly recommend this spot for breakfast.

Before leaving Galena we stopped at Charlie's Place for breakfast ! This was a great place to eat, we enjoyed it very much and highly recommend it to everyone in town . Some kind unknown person decided to pay our bill, I believe because I am a Veteran!! Thank you very much for your kind gesture .
